I am a Systems Quality Engineer at Apple. I work with cross-functional hardware and software teams to monitor pre-release software quality, validate user scenarios, and automate testing on Apple hardware. I use Claude Code and Gemini to develop tools for myself and others to use, as well as to assist in test automation and programming.

I also spent 6 years as a Test Design lead at Apple, working with teams around the globe to bring up and optimize hardware test lines at our manufacturing sites. Released products: iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, AirPods Gen 4, AirPods Pro Gen 3.

Prior to joining Apple I was a Senior Firmware Test Lead at Micron, covering the FTL (flash translation layer) domain. Job responsibilities included code standards enforcement, Jira story managment, holding scrums, developing test scripts and libraries in Python, automating testing using Jenkins, and performing triage on firmware test failures. I helped lead the effort to switch from Python 2.x to 3.x while keeping the code PEP8 compliant. I focused on improving team efficiency by instituting asynchronous communication models (reduce team meetings from multiple per day to two per week by utilizing MS Teams and automated Jira status reporting).
